Wednesday evenings at The Bible Chapel offer many opportunities for all ages! Join us for dinner, and then participate in various class opportunities for all ages. Wednesday evening programs run September-April.
Wednesday Night Dinners
Wednesday Nights at The Bible Chapel begin as they should, with dinner. Eat as a family, meet new friends, and enjoy great food. Dinner is served from 5:00-6:15 p.m. A nominal fee covers our costs and allows us to offer excellent food! $5 for adults, $4 for children over six years; $15 maximum per family. Bible Institute
The Bible Institute is an adult education program designed to encourage Christian development, strengthen families and individuals, and equip Christ-followers for service. Check back in August 2012 for Fall class offerings. Click here for more info.
Life Groups
Life Groups are the foundational element of spiritual growth and care giving at The Bible Chapel. Group members encourage one another, pray for one another, love God and one another, and study and apply God’s Word together. Wherever you are in your walk with God, there’s a group for that…including Wednesday evening (Room 172). Contact Bob Mason.
Prayer
Every Wednesday evening we open Starting Point (just outside the main auditorium) for prayer. During that time we focus our prayer on the needs of The Bible Chapel and the people who make it up. Everyone is welcome. For further information, contact Harry Obley at 724-941-7137.
Worship Choir
The Bible Chapel Worship Choir is filled with people who love to practice passionate praise and encourage others to do the same. We are always looking for new members to join us in singing three- and four-part choral worship music every Sunday morning at The Bible Chapel. We practice every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 p.m. (Room 153 – Green Room). So, whether you have choral experience or not, come join in the worship, fellowship, music and fun! Women’s Bible Studies
We encourage all women to check out our array of Bible study opportunities including various topics, days, times and locations to learn which best fit your needs. Check back in August 2012 for Wednesday evening studies beginning in September. Contact Laura Ankrom.
Men’s Bible Studies
Men’s Bible Studies: Join Tunch and The Bible Chapel’s Men’s Ministry Leadership Team for Christ (great Bible study and discussion), camaraderie (locking arms with other guys), and just enough competition to keep things interesting. R19 Youth Ministry
Dinner is served from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The cost is $5 and all you have to do is bring your food from the FLC (Family Life Center) down to the Youth Activities Center (YAC). We will have tables and chairs set up for everyone to eat together. This is a great way to meet new people and hang out before youth group. Jr. High and Sr. High students will open up the night in worship and then split for teaching, which continues through the summer. Contact Dave DiDonato.
Imago Kids – Revi Clubs
Revi Clubs (ages birth through 5th grade) provide a place which encourages children to develop positive relationships with peers and with adult role models. We recognize that kids spend a lot of their day in school, so we build their evening around fun, age appropriate activities. In addition to Bible lessons, adult leaders use guided conversation to help kids reflect on, and apply, biblical truth to their own lives. Click here for classes and registration.
