Spiritual Development Assessment

At The Bible Chapel, our purpose is to develop followers of Jesus Christ. In order to accomplish that, we Engage the spiritually disconnected for life-transformation, we Equip the believer for spiritual growth, and we Employ the growing believer for spiritual impact.

Spiritual development is the process of being transformed into the likeness of Christ. The Five Essentials (Word, Worship, Connect, Serve, Share) are the building blocks of that process. In the Gospel of Mark (Chapter 28), as he was talking with the religious leaders of the time, Jesus described his followers as those who love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and who love their neighbors as themselves.

That kind of spiritual transformation doesn’t just happen; it’s a journey we need to pursue. And it’s not always easy to know how you’re doing on that spiritual journey, or what to do next. This Spiritual Development Inventory is a tool designed to help you take your next steps in that journey. As you take it, please keep in mind that this inventory is not a measure of “success”, or a way to compare yourself to others. It’s simply one opportunity to think about how you’re doing and to give you some suggestions for your next steps.

This 25 question inventory should only take you a few minutes.
