Ron Moore

Ron received a Doctor of Ministry degree (D. Min. in April 2000) and a Master of Theology (ThM in 1985) degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Education. Ron joined The Bible Chapel staff in 1989. He and his wife, Lori, have four children: Brittany, Garrison, Lara and Mackenzie. Ron and Lori live in Peters Township.

Mike McCormick

Mike is a native of the South Hills, and met his wife Kristina at Peters Township High School. Mike holds a degree in Communications from Asbury College in Lexington, KY and attended the Focus on the Family Institute. He served as the youth pastor here at The Bible Chapel from January 1999 to June 2000. Mike rejoined The Bible Chapel staff in 2004, having earned a Masters of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Mike, his wife, Kristina, Jackson, Raegan, and Jonas are currently residing in McMurray.

Scott Arvay

Scott grew up in the Pittsburgh area. He and his wife Mary were both active members at The Bible Chapel before moving to Atlanta in 2003. During their time at The Bible Chapel, Scott was part of a men’s discipleship group led by Ron Moore. It was on a mission trip to Budapest, Hungary in 2007 that Scott felt a strong call from God to ministry. Scott has recently served on Staff and on the Board of Directors at North Metro Church in Atlanta. While serving at North Metro his pastoral experiences included hospital visitations, baptisms, and missions.

Wayne Johnson

Wayne spent 35 years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. 28 of those years were with the Nairobi International School of Theology in Kenya where he taught theology and discipled men and women preparing for ministry. He holds Ph.D. (1994) and Th.M. (1989) degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and an M.Div. from the International School of Theology (1983). Wayne’s passion is to integrate the Bible and theology in one’s life to lead toward greater intimacy with God, spiritual transformation, and service in advancing the Kingdom of God in today’s world. Wayne is married to Dee (Fickenscher) who grew up in Peters Township and has three grown children – Brandon, Justin, and Krystan.

Bob Mason

Bob began his career as a Chemical Engineer after graduating from Louisiana State University in 1965. Following his “retirement,” Bob began studying at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2004. Bob, and his wife Nancy, have been married for forty-one years. They have five children and sixteen grandchildren.

Kirk Voller

Kirk graduated from Grove City College in 1992 with a B.A. In Communications. After leading worship for more than 12 years in Dallas, he spent a year in Colorado Springs at the New Life School of Worship. While there, Kirk was one of two people selected from a pool of 36 to lead worship on Sundays at the 14,000 member New Life Church alongside Ross Parsley, Glenn Packiam, and members of the Desperation Band. Kirk’s heart is to educate and enable people to connect with Jesus in worship. Kirk is married to Missy, and they have two children, Cade and Kylie.

Tom Rojahn

Tom grew up in the Pittsburgh area and graduated from Robert Morris University with a degree in Sport Communications. After working seven years for the Pittsburgh Pirates, he and his wife, Amanda, who first met each other ten years ago while both serving as Bible Chapel Senior High Youth Ministry leaders, moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. There he joined the leadership team at Truth in Action Ministries, formerly Coral Ridge Ministries. Tom is expected to graduate from Knox Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts (Christianity and Culture) later this year. He and Amanda have two sons, Owen and Wes.

Nancy Haresign

Nancy graduated from the Teachers College of the University of Zimbabwe in Southern Africa. She taught elementary education in both public and private schools. Upon moving to the United States, Nancy held a ministry position at Emmaus Bible College in Chicago. In 1987, she and her husband, Gordon, were involved in a church plant in Jefferson Boro. Nancy served there for ten years as the Director of Children’s Ministries. The Haresigns live in Whitehall and have two adult daughters who reside in the Pittsburgh area.

Tunch Ilkin

Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Tunch Ilkin grew up in the Chicago area. In 1975, he was granted an athletic scholarship to Indiana State University, and joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1980. After his retirement from football, he became part of the official Steelers broadcasting team and now works as an analyst on the Pittsburgh affiliate of Fox Sports Net. Tunch serves as the Director of Men’s Ministries at The Bible Chapel. Tunch lives in Upper St. Clair.

Laura Ankrom

Originally from North Carolina, Laura’s background has been a mix of civil engineering and urban ministry. After earning a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary, she served as Pastor of Women’s Ministry in a Christian & Missionary Alliance church in Pittsburgh’s North Side community. Laura joined The Bible Chapel staff in 2009. She and her husband, Paul, live in Canonsburg.

J. Ware

J Ware is a native of Cedarville, OH. He and his wife Becca both grew up there and attended Cedarville University. J has been involved in Youth Ministry since 2003, where he spent three years as the Youth Pastor of a large congregation in Cincinnati, OH. J has also spent time working as an Inner City Teacher in Cincinnati and most recently as a Student Ministries Pastor in Denver, CO. Both J and Becca have a heart for missions and they have served in South Africa, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic. J, Becca and their three sons Ben, Andrew and Jaden reside in Canonsburg, PA.

Luke McClain

Luke came on staff as a Youth Ministry Associate July of 2009, and became a full time staff member in June of 2010. He graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Christian Educational Ministries and a minor in Sociology. He was born in Cross Lanes, WV but spent most of his childhood in Villa Park, IL. Luke felt the call to ministry his freshman year of college. While in college, Luke helped start a ministry called Mephibosheth that ministered to the broken in spirit and the homeless of Indianapolis. He has been working with students for five years and is currently ministering with the Jr. High students. Some of Luke’s hobbies include coffee, music, and writing. Luke, his wife, Jessie and son Wyatt reside in Peters Township.

Dave DiDonato

Email Dave DiDonato

Dave grew up in the Pittsburgh area, and graduated from Grove City College in 2005. Dave has held several positions in the business world, including both consulting and sales roles. He and his wife, Kristen, have been deeply involved in youth ministries for five years, including being senior high staff members for Campus Life at South Fayette High School. Through those ministries, Dave was led into full-time college ministry and was accepted by Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO). Dave is now the Director of Student Ministry here at The Bible Chapel and also serves as CCO Staff at Pittsburgh Technical Institute (PTI). Dave and Kristen reside in Peters Township.
