MOPS registration for the 2014/2015 year will open on August 1, 2014.

Dear Moms,

Welcome to Mothers of Preschoolers at The Bible Chapel! We are glad that you have found us, and we look forward to meeting you and your children this year! Our theme this year is Be You Bravely: Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV) – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Registration for MOPS begins on August 1, 2014. We have limited availability for childcare – so please register as early as possible to ensure your spot! We will begin a waiting list once the childcare slots are filled, however, typically we are able to open up the waiting list as some MOPS moms do have changes in their plans/schedules – so please be sure to sign up!

Our fee for MOPS is $74. This includes a $25 yearly fee that is paid directly to MOPS International. Should you cancel your registration, we will be unable to refund this $25 fee once your information has been submitted to MOPS International. This fee guarantees a subscription to “Hello Darling,” a monthly Magazine issued by MOPS, MOPS International emails, and a welcome package from MOPS International. And if you should move or join another MOPS group you will not have to pay that fee for 2014-2015. And if you should move or join another MOPS group you will not have to pay that fee for 2014-2015. The rest of the fee is a $3.50 per meeting to pay for crafts, demonstrations, hospitality, etc. We ask that you pay the fee up front so that we can plan for the number of women at each meeting. If you need assistance with this fee, please let Becky or Claudia know as scholarships are available.

We meet at The Bible Chapel, South Hills Campus, in Rooms 413-414. Childcare is provided with advance registration, and drop-off begins at 9:30 a.m. with the MOPS meeting beginning at 10:00 a.m.

“MOPS” stands for “mothers of preschoolers” – but don’t let that confuse you! MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Whether you’re urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you!

Being moms is what brings us together and allows us to build a community. The early years of being a mom are just as foundational to you as they are to your baby, and those years are filled with unique needs that other moms instinctively understand.

Our MOPS is a two hour meeting, twice a month, that provides childcare while you get to fellowship, be refreshed and supported by other moms, and eat yummy food. A speaker comes to discuss pertinent parenting, relationship, or feminine topics and we break into smaller groups for fun discussions and to get to know each other better. There are opportunities throughout the year for playdates and mom’s night out socials to further relationships you have made with the moms in MOPS. Join us and experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope.
