Bible Institute

The Bible Institute is an adult education program designed to encourage Christian development, strengthen families and individuals, and equip Christ-followers for service.

Students may either “audit” or take the course for “certificate credit.” Classes are open to “audit” students who simply want to listen and learn without the commitment of additional work. “Certificate credit” is given to students who want to add the extra learning components of reading required texts and completing writing assignments as laid out in course syllabus. There are no tests or grading involved. The Bible Institute currently offers three tracks of study for certification: Old Testament, New Testament, and Theology. Each track consists of six classes.

Institute courses are delivered in three different formats so students can arrange their study program according to their specific time, location, and learning style.

  • Classroom courses meet once a week for twelve weeks at various times during the year.
  • Weekend seminars are offered throughout the year with an intensive twelve hour focus from Friday night through Saturday afternoon. Details coming soon.
  • Online courses contain downloadable audio teachings and power point presentations from actual courses taught at the Institute. To register, first contact Carl Huhn at chuhn@biblechapel.org for a username and password.

There is no cost for registration. All class materials will be available in the Chapter 2 Bookstore.

Classes are available on Wednesday evenings for everyone – men, women, teens, children, etc. Click here for more information on other offerings on Wednesday evenings.

H2O

H2O is a 10 week informal gathering for folks who are curious about Christianity and maybe unsure about what to make of Jesus. Through dramatic HD video, it uses carefully crafted storytelling to consider the person of Jesus Christ. Not a message or a sermon, each 20 minute cinematic video episode tees up meaningful discussion about the Bible’s answers to life’s questions. H2O groups are safe places to share doubts and reservations you may have about becoming a follower of Jesus.

This group is ideal for you if …

  • You feel you have more questions than answers about Jesus right now, and/or
  • You would like to learn more about Jesus and Christianity before making a commitment to Him, and/or
  • You want to re-start a long dormant relationship with the Lord.
